I have been a photographer since 2017. I've done everything from Business portraits to nature/travel photography. I have clients who contact me wanting me to change something in their images to reconstructing old images. I work with my Nikon D5300 Camera.
I'm just starting to kick off my web design career. I have worked with Bootstrap, Wix, WordPress, Google Sites, and many more. I work with my clients on trying to create their ideal website for their company.
Hello! My name is Jake, and I'm a digital artist from Minnesota.As an artist, my skill set excels at graphic design and illustration that emphasizes detail and creative use of elements. As part of my college courses, I have an excellent understanding of the creative design process, and I'm also efficient in working with narrative design and media, story-boarding and character design, as well as some areas of post-production.
I'm very efficient with my time and strive to finish ahead of schedule, and always looking to improve my abilities with guidance or feedback from my peers and colleagues. I’m effective on my own; I’m even better in small and large groups to bounce ideas between and always do my best to be both a professional and highly communicative team member.
It was completely unexpected that I would have been finishing my college degree in Graphic Design Technology at home instead of Dakota County Technical College due to the 2020 Covid-19 situation in our world. While finding new ways to balance learning new programs while creating projects and designs; the situation has opened up inspiring ways of learning with teachers and friends in a whole new light.
DCTC has encouraged me to discover more out about my strengths in graphics. I have always loved creating things out paper and enjoyed drawing and coloring since I have been little. I never dreamed that Graphic Design could be a path for me until senior year of high school while visiting DCTC. Their Graphics program hit an immediate spark of interest and I knew this was the direction for me.
I am an outdoor enthusiast who loves fishing, 4-wheeling, having fun in the snow, photography and just being outside. Most people know me as being fun spirited, good natured and kind hearted. I am a hard working, honest and disciplined and look forward to working with you.
I am a graduate from DCTC ( Dakota County Techicnal College). I have an A.A.S degree in Web design. This coming fall (2020) I plan to countinue my education at DCTC and go for the graphic design degree as well.
